My story with graphic editing started many years ago. It all began when I became a very young mother with an awesome brand-new baby and lots of time on my hands. Back in those days I started taking a ridiculous number of pictures of my son Vlad (I still do) and I really wanted to make them look even more beautiful. I told my beloved husband, Alin (a computer genius), that I wanted to learn a way to enhance the photographs I clicked. What do you think he did? Well, like he always does (and you will hear more about him through my blog) he came to me with a big smile on his face, a pile of thick books in his hands and said, “Here you go! Learn.”
It was great! That’s all I needed to begin my journey with Photoshop. I learned a lot through my own experiments, but the real break-through was when I discovered Kelby’s Training. I was ecstatic – a whole new world of professionals was just a click away. I still have a special place in my heart for Scott Kellby, Matt Kloskowski, Corey Barker and many more. I also learned a lot from Lynda’s instructors: Chris Orwig and Deke McClelland, and also from a guy I met not very long ago – Aaron Nace. These are all truly amazing people I would never have heard of, if not for the Internet. To all of you guys and others who conduct online training: You don’t know me, but you made a huge difference to my work and life. Thank you!

- Learning Photoshop can be fun and you don’t have to become a professional designer to do it. Imagine how cool it would be to learn how to create awesome images like this, this, this or this.
Thanks for reading! Share this with all your friends who think is too hard to learn something online.
